Rhowan-Alice started dancing at the age of 4, with Susan Airey School Of Ballet, in Nairn. At the age of 7, Rhowan-Alice then joined TFX Performing Arts Academy, in Inverness. 

Rhowan moved to Moray Dance in 2011, at the age of 13. 

Whilst at Moray Dance Rhowan-Alice studied RAD Ballet and Jazz. She took many exams and performed in shows. 

During her time at Moray Dance Rhowan-Alice was entered and passed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam. Following this, Rhowan-Alice applied and successfully landed a place on the RAD’s Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS), 2 year course. 

After completing the course, Rhowan-Alice then went onto teach for Moray Dance.

Rhowan-Alice has participated in many teaching  courses to ensure she is teaching safe, effective and qualified classes. 

Rhowan-Alice has since left Moray Dance and now lives in Edinburgh. She has taught around Edinburgh and settled at Robertson Dance Academy. 

Rhowan-Alice choreographs for the Competitive Ballet Teams and Soloists, who compete around the UK.

Rhowan-Alice has also set up her own Dancewear company, Ballet Deluxe. Ballet Deluxe offers pop up shops and Pointe Shoe fittings locally, as well as travelling Pointe Shoe fittings.

Rhowan-Alice’s latest venture is Fife Ballet Company., which is a production company where local dancers audition to take part in a Classical Ballet show. They have just had their first audition day and now have sent out their cast list for The Nutcracker, which will be performed on the 2nd December 2023 in Dunfermline.

Rhowan-Alice has often come back to visit or help/support our Moray Dance shows, and it’s lovely to see her when we get the chance.
