Alice started dancing at the age of 4, with Susan Airey School Of Ballet, in Nairn at the age of 4. At the age of 7, Alice then joined TFX Performing Arts Academy, in Inverness. Alice joined MD as an evening student in 2011, at the age of 13.

Whilst at MD Alice studied RAD Ballet and Jazz. She took many exams and performed in shows.

During her time at MD Alice was entered and passed her RAD Intermediate Ballet exam. Following this, Alice applied and successfully landed a place on the RAD’s Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS), 2 year course.

After completing the course, Alice then went onto teach for MD in Nairn and Balloch.

Alice left MD and moved to Edinburgh. She taught in and around Edinburgh at various schools.

Whilst teaching in Edinburgh Alice choreographed for the Competitive Ballet Teams and Soloists, who compete around the UK. The team went to DWC and the team came top 9th in the world.

Alice has also set up her own Dancewear company, Ballet Deluxe. Ballet Deluxe offers pop up shops, costume hire and used to offer Pointe Shoe fittings.

Alice’s latest successful venture is Fife Ballet Company. Fife Ballet Company is a production company where local dancers audition to take part in a Classical Ballet show. They performed The Nutcracker in 2023, The Sleeping Beauty in 2024 and in 2025 they will perform Swan Lake.

Fife Ballet Compnay also offers monthly associate programmes, summer programmes, performance groups, open ballet classes,  workshop with retired Royal Ballet and Ballet London dancer, Judith Scott, and in May 2025 fhey had a guest class with Bethany Kingsley-Garner.

Alice has often come back to visit and with her relocation back to Moray we are delighted to have her join the MD Team!

Alice will be teaching on a Thursday in Forres, along with Miss Stephanie. she cannot wait to meet you all!
